Kazan State Medical University boasts a notable rating of “BBB+” and has earned its place as the third top medical university in Russia. With over 200 years of experience in medical education, KSMU is a distinguished international university. It hosts around 2,700 students from more than 57 countries, with half of them studying in English. Founded in 1814 as the Medical Faculty of Kazan Emperor University, Kazan State Medical University is situated in the heart of Kazan, Russia. It has evolved into a leading medical institution, educating thousands of Indian students over the years. KSMU operates as a self-governing entity within the higher education and scientific research system of the Ministry of Health of Russia. With a student body of over 8,000, including residents, and a staff of 1,800, KSMU includes nine faculties and a medical-pharmaceutical college. COURSE & ELIGIBILITY
The MBBS program at Kazan State Medical University spans six years. The first five years encompass both theoretical and practical instruction within the university, while the final year is dedicated to hands-on medical training at top hospitals in Russia affiliated with the university.
To apply for the MBBS program, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Age: Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year. The maximum age for application is 25 years.
- Education: Applicants must have completed their 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. They must also have passed their 10th grade from a board recognized by the Indian Government.
- Academic Performance: A minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the 12th grade is required.
- Entrance Exam: Applicants must have cleared the NEET exam with a sufficient score.

SCHOLARSHIP
Some universities in Russia may offer scholarships for international students based on academic merit or financial need.
The amount of scholarship will be 100%, 50%, or 25% of tuition fees based on the percentage of marks in qualifying examinations. The specific scholarship percentage is determined and announced at the time of admissions.
